If the scenario I've set up doesn't work for a realistic rescue, please tell me how you want it changed and I will comply by editing my post. I will be very glad to do this.
I do agree that a rescue of Dryea is in order, and I am extremely reluctant to get into additional subplots and allotments of time: having Dryea go after Alethea, or setting up a situation where Rueil leaves her daughter behind and Dryea needs to devise another plan to escape on her own.
The Alethea/Dryea conflict is potentially complicated and could be resolved in a later game. At one point Arien and I even talked informally about a possible proposal involving a wild chase between the two sisters across the seas....
Please let me know if you need additional help to bring this game to a conclusion.
