Well, May 25. seems to be the fixed date for RotK-theatrical. But some doubt still remains concerning RotK-EE, it seems. Some says September, others 'around Christmas'. Maybe the truth is that even PJ & New Line doesn't know, if it isn't finished yet. And PJ is probably busy with "King Kong" already.
But if the EE doesn't turn up untill Christmas time, at least the 'short version' can comfort us while we wait! It's great it's coming in May
