Agreed, the staff being broken doesn't bother me so much as Gandalf falling upon the ground with that look of fear on his face! Book Gandalf
never would have let an enemy see his fear. PJ could have
at least scripted a duel between the two that ended with the WK flying off to confront the Rohirrim. Or better yet, he could have shot the scene as it was in the book!
