Fordim is in a small town near me, and not even overseas at conferences last I heard, although he tried to barter a free ticket to the Tolkien Society bash this August. Not all the eloquent ones are Brits.
There are several other Brits among us, but to the best of my knowledge they are in the midlands or north or Yorkshire.
