I really wonder how a musical will do justice to Tolkien. A musical is traditionally almost always light-hearted, and LotR is very deep and serious in most parts of the book. Also, most of the songs would be hard to do justice to in a musical's atmosphere, except for maybe the Hobbit songs and Tom Bombadil's. Maybe I'm a bit too pessimistic about it, and maybe these people aren't trying to capitalise on a recent 'craze' that has swept the world. Oh well, I suppose I'll wait and see.
