Tolkien appears to have borrowed the concept of the "sister-son" (i.e. the special relationship between a maternal uncle and his nephew, whom he raises or fosters) from Norse mythology and history. Name two examples of this relationship from JRRT (where the nephew was raised by the maternal uncle or lived with the maternal uncle for some time) -- at least one from the elder days and one from the Third Age.
