Using the speeds of travel given in Fonstad's
Atlas of Middle Earth, I have calculated that it would take riders of Rohan horses over six days to ride to Barad-dűr. No horse can gallop nonstop for six to eight hours; one to two hours is the max, and then they need to walk or trot for several hours.
Rohan horses are faster than Dunlending horses, however, and I assume that includes Easterling horses also, so we have a slight edge.
As long as nothing delays us.
