Ok, I give up too, since everyone else (including Mac) has decided to do as morm says.
However, I do think it's not only acceptable to use this strategy, but, as I said, offensive and un-sportsmanlike to intimidate us into abandoning it with bad-faith accusations of rule breaking.
This was a fun game, but that turned it sour for me.
Oh well, I guess all we can do is:

and hope for the best.
