I'm going to guess it's because
Foley needs a scapegoat? Makes sense. (Of course the same could be said for
Mira; she could want to keep me around because she knows I trust her more than
Foley.) Either way, I'm of use to them, apparently. I'll be of even more use when I kill them, but I appreciate the gesture.
