I'll assign the disconcerting nature of stumbling sleepily downstairs for a shower only to find my parents sitting in the kitchen with an inclination to learn where I was, who I was with, what I did, and how and when I got home last night. I'd just woken up! Inquisitions at times like those are just plain mean. They're practiced at this parenting thing.
