I keep thinking about Monty Python's Flying Circus' "Hell's Grannies" sketch. Something about the long trailing black cloaks... I can almost hear them evilly cackling. <P>Just saying that made me feel very happy. I am beginning to believe that they are women. I dig the whole ring misunderstanding. But if they were indeed Sauron's harem of nine, what was the problem? Why did they leave to chase the men of the fellowship?<P>And the beards...
