That link to Geography might well be very technical, but quess what I found there. The word 'hamada' means 'desert, bedrock'. Now, remembering what "Harad" is in LOTR, I am even more intrigued by Tolkien's work with language. Unexpected bonus! [img]smilies/cool.gif[/img]
