One fun part of this is that the entire "sequel" got submitted as evidence... which makes it publically accessible. Here is the link to the original upload (and here is my backup copy). And hoooooooooo boy it's bad.

“That’s just a bad imitation of the original verses about the real Rings of Power!” Sam
shouted. “What do you really want? Why are you making all of this up?!”
Samwise is quite hilariously put out at being dragged into a knockoff; he spends the first few chapters complaining it's just a ripoff of the Red Book. But it doesn't save him, oh no. He's taken the entire Hill for Bag-End, seemingly knocking down the New Row only a few years after it was built.

I've only read a few chapters, but you will be pleased to know that the Eldar made a point of transporting multiple life-sized statues by Nerdanel from Aman to Numenor, which Elendil then took care to carry with him in his apparently leisurely departure from, oh, don't remember but it can't have been that bad. They're displayed alongside statues by Nerdanel's red-haired granddaughter Drendelen, whose parentage remains mercifully unstated.

Also there's a Hobbit named Ewartia. People call her Alice.
