Just in case you've only seen the movie, try reading the book
I'd want one for the same reason Gandalf has Glamdring. Tolkien's Istari are
very different from the traditional spell-muttering wizard.

Yeah, but that's not too bad compared to the people above going around wearing only a shirt of mail (Which, by the way, usually doesn't extend downwards as far as a cloak does
And it's itchier.)
