My assignment is similar...I assign summer rains. So they're still not quite enough to appease the terrible heat, but at least they do. Somehow.
And yes, I agree with the lightning and thunder. Well, so long as I'm somewhere safe, like inside the Math classroom. They provide a good distraction and/or wake-up call.
