Nerwen permitted herself a slight smile as she pocketed her winnings. She was always on her guard when someone initiated a card game out of the blue, but
Kuruhuran had turned out to have literally nothing up his sleeve.
She herself, on the other hand... her smiled broadened a trifle as checked that none of her concealed decks of cards were outlined through her clothing.
Almost as satisfying was the fact that she had managed to "lose" her cheerleading pom-poms to
Formendacil in an early round.
Wonder what he'll do with them... What did

Nerwen approached the group of
Formendacil, Aganzir,
Shasta and another Downer she did not recognise.
"Drinks are on me," she told them. "I'm celebrating. Oh, and would you like to play again,
Formy? Perhaps I'll win my pom-poms back from you."
