Tallin swung at the beasts knees and was rewarded by a bellow from above, then had to duck once again, dragging Rayes head down as well, as the club once again swung distractedly at them; the troll was having a problem with having all of them around it. Raye jerked away though, slapping at Tallin's hand. The wolftamer shot her a bemused look before continuing on the things knees, woodsman style, at the creatures tough, gravelly skin. Well, woodswoman anyway. It just wouldnt give in, it was like chopping at a brick, and was damaging her sword...

A scream attracted Tallins attention, a cry of pain and fear. She looked up and saw the human girl, Yenhofir, cowering against the wall.

"Yenh-" She started to call, but too late as she was hit across the head with the trolls club. The wolftamer winced at the smack it made, and the resulting smack as Yenhofir was thrown against the wall. She looked at Raye, who nodded briefly, raising an eyebrow. "Nothing I cant handle, Tallin."

Good grief, was that a smile?! Tallin looked also at Dimithil, but the elf was busy himself. Ducking between the massive trolls legs, she ran towards Yenhofir, facing the wall, and crouched down beside her. She carefully rolled her over and winced again as she saw the huge bloom of blood still spreading across the side of the girls head and face. She didnt withdraw her hand though; she had seen many injured animals, and humans- the guards of Mirkwood after incidents with the spiders, or rogue travellers for instance...

She touched the head wound gently with her fingers and her heart sank as Yenhofir didnt respond at all. Damn, not you as well... The blood had covered much of what was there and as she wiped away from of it carefully, she saw how the trolls club had smashed part of the girls skull. A fracture must have gone into her brain- a quick death at least. The wolftamer bit her lip. Yenhofir was so young, even for the race of men. She closed the girls wide, staring eyes, making her young face look more peaceful, but there was nothing more she could do but murmer a blessing for quick passage to the Havens.

"Farewell, daughter of men." She finished, then felt the ground tremble. She turned quickly and saw the beast take another stagger sidewards, making Dimithil and Dia scuttle hastily out of the way. Tallin noticed the knife sticking out of the trolls neck, pushed in almost up to its hilt, and noticed the golden leaf patterns of Lorien under the blood on the hilt- Dimithils work then. Raye ran from beneath the trolls legs and threw herself to the side as it took another huge step, hunched over now, defeated looking. Then, to Tallins horror, it stood up straight again and gave a massive roar. Quickly, she drew her sword again and, balancing it in her hand, threw it like a spear into the beasts throat to join Dimithils dagger.
