I do want to compress the timeline as soon as Daisy is in custody, which I'm thinking should be soon - do you agree?

In fact she can be put in the clink for the next letter she and Bird find if need be (which could detail that Sauron is sending extra troops to the prison and is extending his search for the dragon.) At which point - Pio will go upriver, all the way to the caves, having learnt from Levanto that Daisy has been seized. She will contact Bird (yes, Bird - osanwë!) and I was considering that Gorthaur might get a 'feel' for this contact, so also heightening the tension level.

This rough outline from the 'Pio' character perspective - sound ok?
