Argh, I hate essays!
Orcs were thought to have once been elves, who were corrupted by Melkor, otherwise known as Morgoth. They were taken by Melkor's servants from Cuvienen, and the other elves feared for their lives. Melkor tortured these capture elves, their beautiful faces made ugly. Many years later, these elves, now orcs, appeared in the first battle of Beleriand. This is just a theory, for there could be other theories as to the beginning of orcs!
How does that sound, do I get an A?

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not whither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken:
The crownless again shall be king.
