my favourite 5 are
1- Aragorn (he's a real old-fashioned hero, and i can't help loving that!)
2- Arwen (the way they show her in the books, NOT in the movie!)
3- gimli (most of the times he's just funny, but i admire his perseverance)
4- Bilbo (the old romantic...)
5- Tom Bombadil (that guy is a real mistery. it seems no laws or magic can influence him)
