Well, I first read LOTR when I was twelve. The ending broke my heart, and I couldn't bring myself to read it again until a bit after FOTR the movie came out. I am about a quarter of the way into ROTK now, but again, am having trouble making myself read it 'cause--well, 'cause of the end! [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

Am only partway through the illustrated version of the Hobbit.
