Eh? I didn't actually say I thought that either. I was looking at it
as a theory, and seeing if the facts fit, and what, if anything, could be deduced– which is not the same thing.

True– but the Night-kill still has to be looked at. And then there's the question of why they would do
that, instead of actually trying for gifteds. (Wolf in trouble, perhaps?)
But anyway, I still haven't looked at Pitch on Day Two.
