Depends. Elves are natural acrobats and have very good reflexes, but Dwarves are very hardy and physically strong. I cannot particularly choose which one I would rather have by my side in a battle

I do not think Men, as a race, have any particular redeeming qualities when it comes to strength (I am ruling out the Númenorians).

Being straightforward, I think a Dwarf would win in a match of physical strength.
