The dwindling living grew nervous this day, not knowing whether they were getting closer to the completion of their task to root out the evil among them or not. New leaders emerged inside the group, claiming powers the others could only dream of.
"I am Glorfindel," said Ang "I do not fear the evil creatures and will protect you at night, as I did before!"
"I am the hunter," said elronds_daughter "and should the wolves come for me, I shall take one of them with me!"
"I am the seer," claimed the phantom "and I have the power to see who it is among us that seek our death!"
"Although," he added "so far me and the Lord Lórien haven't exactly been seeing eye to eye. elronds_daughter is lying, though!"
"Let's lynch her!" everyone agreed.
The mighty Glorfindel, having his powers enhanced by the dead, approached her, sword unsheathed. But elronds_daughter escaped his attack and jumped on the phantom, killing him with swift blows. The phantom passed away, and his cold, gurgling laughter sent shivers down the innocent spines. Anguirel did not hesitate and ended elronds_daughter's life.
Then more laughter was heard, and Glorfindel felt the pain of sharp teeth in his neck. As he fell to the ground, dying, he saw the grisly shape of Glirdan above him.
Boromir, who had barely been conscious during the day for all his sorrow, was attacked by the lovely Greenie, who did not look as lovely anymore, and her gaping maw tore him to his death.
Then Sally and Nerwen looked at each other, and before Sally could take up her sword, Nerwen had leapt upon her and shredded Sally's skin into pieces with her claws.
Sally's last words were left unheard for the howling of the victorious wolves.
