Yeah, i agree Aragorn can get kinda long in his phrases describing himself or his possesions. Like when he shows people his sword, he will spout something off like, Behold the sword that was broken but now reforged. It is the past bane of the dark lord and etc, etc, etc. Why couldn't he just say "behold my sword, aint it cool," "dont touch, its old." (not because it's name is Anduril)
I have to agree Strider is really cool, because he is quiet and doesn't preach about himself. The factor of mystery that surrounds him makes up his likability.
I find it funny how gandalf has faults as a human, becuase he is forced to assume that form. I bet he gets ****ed off, him being a Maia and everything. Being stuck in the body of an old man, would be taxing on such a being.
