Speaking for myself, you can totally blame that on a temporary low in esprit on the reader's side.
As for P&A, the new/old format takes some time to adjust to after the epic story arc of Vol. 3. But tell me, what has happened to
davem's look since Vol. 2 ? Wouldn't have recognized the old chap. When and how did he acquire a pony-tail?
