The AKM stars from round 3
So here we go with the AKM stars from round three of the group-phase.
Three stars
Arien of Valimar
Arien’s stunning performance against Thangorodrim outshines the performances seen thus far in the tournament. Thangorodrim put Valimar into a tight spot and Arien can be said to be more than a key to Valimar beating Thangorodrim out of the tournament being involved in all of Valimar’s goals.
Two stars
The Witch King of Dol Guldur
He was the soul of his team bringing them back from 0-2 to Havens and qualifying. He really showed his leadership qualities this round.
Cotton of Bywater
She had to pick only three shots in the match against Lorien, but catching them all made it possible for Bywater to qualify. So even if she hadn’t have to face that many shots her saves were probably making the most difference on this round.
One star
Tom Bombadill of Bree
He showed once again that when he is interested in playing he’s stil one of the best players there are. His two goals were a sovereign performance. Sadly he can’t be made interested against his will to do more for his team.
Túrin of Mithrim
Túrin is getting into shape. His two goals sank Nargothrond and his self-confidence is clearly gearing up.
Melian of Doriath
The best goalie of the round with a very good 85,7%. Sadly her efforts were in vain in regards to qualifying. But she showed what the concept honour is about.
