When I first saw the movie and read the book it was all about Frodo. I thought he was the best. He suffered so much and did the most encredible things and because of this first love of Frodo I also loved Sam for all he was to Frodo " the Frodo bearer" (great quote). The second time I read the LotR books I was able to appreciate all the characters better, so picking a fav is too hard. sam is the all time best friend ever and I wish a Sam for all. I guess we all wnat this since so many speak of his qualities wether they like him best or not.
