Yes, just like the lyrics in some Led Zeppelin songs, and just like a good many band names and songs are taken from/influenced by works of literature, films etc (Duran Duran and Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights, for example).
I don't see any problem with them using a play on words influenced by Tolkien's works as their name (copyright issues aside). What is rather sad, however, is their rather inflated opinion of themselves:

Now, I haven't heard their music, but I would hazard a pretty good guess that they are probably one of the bands least deserving of that particular accolade. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]
