I used to read backward on purpose at school so I would read slower and didn't look like a dork for finishing before everyone else. Now that's hard to manage, because of course your brain wants to process things the correct way.)

And unfortunately you're right. If the baddies want to fake (or discredit) a reveal bad enough they'll find a way to do it and there's nothing the gifted in question can do about it. Though I'm not opposed to them (the gifted, that is, of course) trying.
