That's true, and I doubt I'd be able to resist killing Dain if his head was on the chopping block. But seeing as it is not yet, I will continue to heal him.
The only bribery I remember is telling
wilwa I would not kill either Fili or Kili...didn't mean I'd save him, just wouldn't kill him. Then I forgot which
ili it was, and so when one died I just killed the other.
