I used my mom's old books when I first read LOTR. Then she bought me my own set along with The Hobbit because I was wearing her's out. You should have seen how happy I was when she brought the set home!

Good thing I have 3 separate books because they are already big enough. I've already worn out ROTK! (My mom doesn't think I take good care of my books, but she doesn't know how hard it is to put it in your backpack without bending the cover!) Lesson: 3 books is better than 1.
