I don't mean that he is a "pretty" boy, b/c yu are right, harlindon, he is supposed to be beautiful and elegant. But they make him out to be a pansy boy, b/c he doesn't do any of the things in the movie that he does in the book, and b/c his character has become idolized by girls( and women). I had no intention of down-playing the beauty of elves.
