The sun set completely and the stars twinkled happily as the moon shone down on the three remaining people. The rest of the night was silent, there was no movement. The Old Witch, the Robber Bridegroom and Hansel stood and stared each other down, waiting to see what would happen.
And it did. A small cackle could be heard from within the circle. The Robber Bridegroom and Hansel turned their heads and watched as his appearance began to change. Within minutes the Old Witch stood before them.
“Hahaha, I knew I’d be able to do this.” She cackled as she stared evilly at the two others. “The others all failed, they weren’t strong enough. But I made it. I kept everything going and I succeeded.”
She stared back and forth between the two others and pulled out a little stick. She spoke a few random words and pointed it at Hansel.
Eomer’s body fell dead on the ground.
“Wow, we won!” the Robber Bridegroom said staring at the Old Witch.
“How do you know I won’t kill you too?” the Old Witch asked, turning her little wand to point at
McCaber. She didn’t get the chance to do anything however, for a loud noise was heard coming in the distance. They both watched as a large carriage, lead by 6 huge black horses arrived in the town square. It came to a halt and after a long, epic moment of complete silence someone stepped out.
She was quite beautiful, just like her daughter had been, but way scarier. She walked slowly up to where the Old Witch and Robber Bridegroom stood, her long black gown twirling in the sudden wind and her bright crimson hair flowing all down her back.
“Let him be. He did help us when he got hold of Cinderella. Perhaps I shall reward him.” The Evil Queen said smoothly while patting him on the shoulder. She turned to the Old Witch. “You did very well. The village is empty; my people can now keep guard over the castle. Philip’s birthday is today, if he doesn’t wed by midnight I shall gain full control of the kingdom. I have won, and no one can stop me now”
She smiled cruelly and took a glance at the castle where Rosamund still slept soundly.

A few miles away the Prince sat on his horse looking down on the village. The night had grown very cold and it was the darkest he had ever seen. He looked at the castle where he knew Rosamund slept.
“I should be down there, marrying her right now.” He said to one of his guards.
“We can’t risk it sir.” His guard answered.
“Well, I’d rather be dead then standing here watching that women take away my kingdom.” He said grabbing hold of his reigns.
“Your Majesty, we’ve gone over this. Even if she takes over there is still hope. The lady is not going anywhere.” His advisor said as he rode up to stand beside him, nodding in the direction of the castle.
“But I won’t be king.” Philip said looking back at him.
“It’s in your blood; we’ll find another way to get you on that throne. But we cannot risk your life; no matter what. You are our only hope, even when it seems there is none.” He answered. The Prince nodded but he still looked as if he’d ride down that hill any moment.
There was a strange sound and suddenly something appeared in front of the Prince and his guards. It was foggy at first but after looking closely it became clear they were ghosts. A large wolf, a beautiful girl and a little man. They hovered there and stared at the Prince with terrible smiles on their faces. The wolf and the girl turned and flew off down towards the village. A strange laughter was heard among the wind as the little man flew forward and stood in front of the Prince.
`You lose.’ he whispered before shrieking another laugh and flying between the horses, causing them all to run in the opposite direction of the village. The little man ghost flew down and followed the others to the village.

The three spirits moved up to the castle and watched the Lady Rosamund sleep. They smiled evilly yet again. The Queen was already taking over, starting by having the Lady`s room locked up and guarded. She was leaving her there to give Philip the tiniest bit of hope, more to rub in her victory than anything else.
The three defeated baddies were not the only ghosts looking on at the scene. Wilwarin stood in a corner of Rosamund`s room watching her friend sleeping soundly. She shed a silent ghostly tear as she vowed that she would not move on from here until the Prince came and rescued the lady, no matter how long it took.
The Queen rewarded the Old Witch and the Robber Bridegroom, and she began making plans for her new kingdom. It seemed hopeless that anything could go back to the peace and happiness that had been in the land before.
Even when the night grew dark, and still stayed dark when the sun should have been rising, the chirping of birds could still be heard as the Lady Rosamund slept soundly in her high tower. Perhaps there could still be a happily ever after.
