The
sun set now on our little village once again. After not that much discussion the villagers began to gather in the
town square. It was pretty obvious that
Fea would be the one to be killed today so they began to gang up around her.
"Hold on! I want to tell you all a little
story."
Fea said with a flourish of her dress. Even though the sun had not completely set she was beginning to change back to her real
self. "Once upon a time there was a little girl. She was a beautiful girl who got a lot of attention and received everything she wanted. She had a mother, a beautiful mother, who had lots of money but wanted a little bit of power. The mother decided to marry the king and became very happy, the little girl didn't mind so much either."
Fea was now twirling and dancing around in a very strange manner as the villagers watched in confusing. Her appearance was continually
changing. She then began to sway in place and hummed to herself for a time before continuing. "Then one day, when the girl was grown, the beloved king passed away. It was all quite tragic. But the girl's mother still held the throne. The girl's future looked very promising. Then a little problem arose."
She said that last part very sharply, and the villagers eyed her in awe. She now looked exactly like
herself, her amazing red hair flying in all directions as she paced around the small circle they had formed around her. She continued again, her tone now very cruel.
"The king's meddling son could take the thrown away from the queen with the simple words "
I do". All he needed was his one true love." She said this last part quite sarcastically with a wave of her hands. "She wouldn't let that happen of course. That is why I'm here, and my allies. You may be ruining it all for me, taking away my chance to be queen someday, but you will not win. My
mother will gain full control and you will all pay for what you have done to me!"
She yelled the last part quite forcefully and began to stomp over to the
gallows. The villagers watched on as
Fea marched up the steps and put the noose around her own neck. They all stared.
"Well, what are you fools waiting for? Can we get this over with please?" She demanded, crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently. They all looked at each other for a second until someone marched up and quickly pulled the lever.
They all watched for a moment in a state of surprise before returning to their homes. The remaing baddies walked their usual ways to the meeting place, quite dissapointed with their loss. The wielder of the looking glass and the Huntsman walked towards their own homes, each of them with a letter from the other tucked safely in their pockets, dreading what the night would bring them.
