I don't think it actually happened. Otherwise we'd be dead as the number of WWs would equal the number of villagers. Repeat: I don't think that happened!

Okay, well I thought you were suggesting a Black Rook had been scried since you were talking about the possibility of one being around, but I guess not. Anyway, even if there was a scrying ability among the Black team, a new rook couldn't have been scried immediately after
Lari's death. So if the narration means anything, it at least doesn't mean that.
