I remember that cold white stuff. I used to live up on the tip of Michigan and we'd get three feet of snow in a night, I still remember shoveling the snow off our roof. I therefore counter your assignment of snow with lots of sunshine in the wintertime.
It's still 70 degrees in Texas!
