While Peter Jackson doesn't show us his hesitation of keeping the Ring (he doesn't show us his willingness to keep it either for that matter

) he does show us a brief moment of Isildur debating with himself whether to put the Ring on. Remember when the orcs ambushed Isildur and his men Isildur rips the Ring from his neck and hesitatingly puts it on his finger.
While I never considered Isildur to be entirely bad, I doubt it would be worth a flash back to when Isildur collected the seeds from the white tree.
