A dwarf walks up to MY door? How odd...but my expected reaction would be to firstly peek through the peephole. Upon seeing no one I would then proceed to the nearest window and take a peek outside. (A suspicious folk, my family. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]) After seeing that there is a person at the door, I would open it, ask him what he wants, and then see how I could help him. If I have the time, I'd take a picture and, being the courteous person that I am, give him directions to all five liqour stores in my neighbourhood and tell him to bring some hobbits and elves with him next time.
