The Numenorean calendar had their leap year day at midsummer too, but what about in other calendars? The Elves had a Leap Year every 12 years, what about Gondor?
And who was the great astronomer who discovered the need for an extra day? |
I would assume Gondor probably followed the same calendar as the Numenoreans.
