Me neither. If you think about it, they all must have had personal grudges against Sauron who was involved in the killing of quite a bunch of elves (take Galadriel's kin, for example).

I doubt Elrond felt he had much in common with the Númenoreans anymore by the time of the Downfall. The kings became greedy and "evil" long before Sauron came to Númenor and persecuted those who still loved elves and the valar, with whom I think Elrond would have sided.
