Well I think Galadriel and Gandalf the Grey represent those people who like to read books and like nature, and we have a lot of people who like to do that kind of stuff.
Aragorn, Gimli, and Eowyn are those who aren't afraid of anything, who don't necessarily read and take walks in nature, and all that stuff

, but who tend to be more boyish. The "let's go outside and wrestle type of people." We have a lot of those people too.
Hobbits are just people who like to get into mischief, but have good intentions.
