Anyone who thinks that women aren't tough hasn't witnessed up-close-and-personal pregnancy, labor and childbirth. From the male point of view; sure, when living with a pregnant woman/'helping' in the delivery, you risk your life with every utterance or act. But what amazes me is that, after carrying the child for 40 weeks or so (the whole idea of something alive inside of me is too much like 'Alien' for comfort), going through the process of labor - in Lalwendė's case, two days! - upon seeing the child it's like the whole ordeal never happened. And they may even, knowing what they know from a first child, go back and do it again!
