Hi, My name is Brandon or some of my good friends call me Tank and I am 20 yrs old. (Turning 21 on March 19)

I am a newcomer to the Tolkien/LotR fantasy. I just recently watched the FotR in November and I was hooked since then, I've watched TTT also. I know I am a 'movie fan' or not a true fan.. but I have recently bought LotR and after I read that is looking forward to reading other works of Tolkien. My fav characters are..

Boromir - different from the book, but the character in the movie got me hooked and gave me a better understanding of the character.

Treebeard - Of Course.

Haldir - Just seems cool.

I dunno if these are the typical newcomers favs or not but then again I am new. I hope to have a enjoyable experience here and looking forward to your discussions.
