Well...in my narrating, I have referred to him a couple times as a ranger. However, I can change that easily enough and make it so that Dick doesn't know. He doesn't have to know. What do you prefer?
I can also make it so that Dick doesn't say anything about it, so that it won't be obvious that he knows.
I will write a post hopefully later this afternoon. (It's about noon for me now.)
