In my dream, I was getting married in a week in Milwaukee. (Why Milwaukee, I have no idea). Apparently I was woefully unprepared for this wedding, since I didn't even have my dress picked out yet with a week to go! Anyway, Formy decided to throw me an engagement party, but I was too busy to RSVP. Finally Hookbill (who was either my fiancé or my personal assistant, I'm not sure which, in the dream) said he was going to RSVP for me and tell Form I was going to wear a dark green dress (perhaps to match with the forum's color scheme?) to the party. At that point in the dream I decided that perhaps I really did need to pick out my wedding dress. The dream ended with me trying on a wedding dress that was suspiciously like a red flannel nightgown with a white yoke, eyelet lace, and ribbons! (I have no idea why I remember it so clearly.) This was definitely one of my weirder dreams!

A dream that tells a long story with a happy ending. There are two basic themes in this dream- one social, one emotional. The setting begins with a city, which represents your sense of community. (Your personal view of Milwauke would be indicative of just what that is for you.) Planning your wedding to an indistinct person shows a need to balance your masculine and feminine sides. You were unprepared, and as a dress represents the free expression of femininity, your lack there of reveals that it was the feminine side that needed balancing. However you veiw Form, his party for your shows a need to meet relational needs in a social setting. Being too busy means that you were unable to meet those needs on your own. This is likely tied very strongly to your need to express your emotional side. Hookbill, whatever he represents to you, was the facilitator that helped you meet these needs, since as fiance he would help you reach your balance, which is also likely why you remember him as an asistant as well. (He was literally asisting you.) By picking out a dark green dress, he was emphasizing your need to express your femininity or emotional side. (Dark green shows the need to balance feminine and masculine traits; the dress is, again, expression of the feminine side.) This jumps you into making a decision- that being how exactly you will express your feminine side. What the dress you picked looked like explains this choice. An old style red flanel nightgown. Whatever that means to you.

Breaking down the elements though- red means strong emotions, white means new beginings, and lace is the realization of your heart's desires.
