I have loved this RPG-element here. In lmp's Dueling wizards there was something of the same. I mean that the occupations and relations really meant something. And that's great.
Surely at the late hours when you are busy trying to still say something you oftentimes curse the need for making the lines "X went to get another ale", but sometimes it's really fun.
But what I think is important, these "highly rolebased"-games make the first days much more fun than in the normal game. In some games I've been in, it has been just of no consequence what your occupation or race is, just futile nonsense one has to come up with but which in the end has no effect on anything.
So maybe we should have games with a "background stuff" where we would actually take roles and try to stick with them and then kind of naked-games where evereyone were just themselves (well, their WW-personalities)?
