but I'm not able to find out where it's from!! Argh!

First I thought it was Gandalf giving this advice to Bilbo and the dwarves in the Hobbit. Or Gandalf to Frodo before he sets out... besides there's no king around then. So on the way back?? I couldn't find it either.
