Hear hear Saucepan man! I must admit I get quite a bit of ridicule from my friends for being a Tolkien fanatic [img]smilies/evil.gif[/img] but I think that has a lot to do with the very very sad fact that it's no longer "cool" to be well-read or intelligent. I tottally respect those who simply don't like the books, but when someone hates them and has never even attempted to read them...i get a bit hot and bothered [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]
