ah, finally a reply...thanks!

It's a shame about the marketing limitations on the new RPG (only covers LotR!) and has lots of glossy film pictures, but it's supposed to be a good game, faithful to Tolkien, and I thought peole here would be qualified to evaluate that!

As for the Games Workshop game, haven't played it. It's a bit too film-tie-in for me, and I don't play warhammer. The figures look pretty good, though. Better than the usual warhammer cartoonish ones... [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]
